I think I really, really need to do this.

I haven’t drawn in like two years, so… please be gentle with your critique. This looks like shit unless you full view it.Drawn because they didn’t include a scene in CA:TFA that showed what took place between Bucky and Steve surviving an epic explosion and then showing up back at camp, and I needed some fluffy h/c where Bucky’s recovering from being experimented on and tries to come to terms with how Steve’s changed and feeling useless because he realizes Steve doesn’t need looking after anymore. Meanwhile, all Steve can think about is how wonderful it is to know Bucky’s still alive and safe and right fucking there.I think I may have listened to Two Men In Love by The Irrepressibles like ten times while drawing this.

If you’re not already following my art blog, please consider giving it a peek. I promise I’m going to finally start posting more soon! There will be lots of lovely video game and slash fanart!

there is literally no difference between academic scholars discussing their interpretations of a text and a bunch of people yelling YOUR HEADCANON IS WRONG at each other

As a Masters student I can vouch for this.

The difference is citations.

if you dont have me on facebook you are probably not missing out on any posts but the comment section is important too lmao

I went to the Renaissance faire dressed as a warrior. I had a real sword with me, too. I was standing (in character) next to a sword-fighting ring, where kids of all ages got the chance to pick up a sword and challenge the champion. Some woman walks by, with her little girl. The girl starts walking towards the ring, saying she wants to fight. But the mom pulled her away hella sharply, and was like, “That’s for boys.” You don’t want to be a BOY, do you?” And the girl looked around and saw me. I think she thought I was a boy; I had my hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a hood. So she comes up to me and asks me, “Do you think girls can be fighters, too?” And her mom looks like she’s silently gloating. Like she thinks I’m going to say no. So I take off my hood, untie my hair so that it flows freely, and kneel before her. And I’m like, “Milady, anyone can be a fighter.” I swear, the look on that mother’s face made my day.
